I ordered these cuties from Swell.com last night! In seven to ten business days I will get to wear them. Hopefully they fit well and I dont have to exchange them, I want to wear them when I fly out to visit Kyle.

Also on Swell.com were these really cute shoes that I wanted, I went to Target with my grandmother and ended up seeing a pair that were very similar so instead of paying $34 for the Swell ones I got the Target pair for $12.

There were a cute pair of plain/croc brown ones too for only $3.24 on clearance and I scooped those up too.

Along with that loot I spent money on some lipstick, a third pair of shoes (gold flip-flops), and two cute tops (I could only find a picture of one...).

I currently have my eye on a pair of white shorts too... I dont know what it is lately but I have had the itch to shop like crazy.

I guess partly because I did a massive purge on my closet this weekend and got rid of anything and everything that I hardly wore or that didnt fit right. I must be in replacement mode or something.

Aside from all of the shopping on Sunday, I mananged to go to the beach on Saturday and despite the overcast/gloom was able to get a lot of color (I know, you get more color when the weather is like that...). Jenn, Will and I went to Clearwater beach and played frisbe and volleyball. I managed to give myself a massive thumb bruise in doing so.

So many terrible things have happened this year, its unreal. I can not believe just two weeks ago Kyle and I were joking around about it being "great in '08" in silly voices to make each other laugh.

I feel so bad, and I feel so deeply for the people involved and I wish that there was more to be done... Meredith, a co-worker's wife just had a heart-attack two days ago, my friend Scott also lost a close friend and had to go to a funeral on Monday. It isnt supposed to be this way.

I have learned from all of this that you never know what is going to happen tomorrow and that we should be so grateful for what we have and the people in our life that love us as much as we love them. If I didnt have Kyle, and my friend Heather I would be a complete wreck right now, as compaired to the partial wreck I am. I know, silly.

I want to turn all of the negativity and sadness into something positive and try to salvage this year and make it something wonderful. I know that will come with baby steps.

I have also been told that Meredith's family has requested donations be made to your local animal shelter as well for Meredith, she loved animals and adopted Ella from an animal shelter in Georgia. If you would like to help her family out, there are two great ways to make donations in her name.

Please, if you can forward my message along to anyone you know, everyone should know Meredith's story so that we can all be more aware and celebrate her wonderful life that was tragically cut too short.

Please hug your loved ones a little longer and be sure the tell everyone that you care about how much they really mean to you, life is so short.

Be ready for a long road to hell Gary Michael Hilton, your days of freedom and fresh air are over. I hope that he pays severely for what he did to her, she did not deserve this, her life was so beautiful and he had no right to cut it short.

Please pray for Meredith and her family. I am not normally the person to ask others to pray, my relationship with God is far from close and not nearly the best, but if anyone out there can pray to whatever they do, please do it for Meredith.

New hair!

Friday afterwork I got my hair done. I love it. I am so happy that I went to Alisha, she did such an amazing job and the color is exactly what I had in mind and matches the photo of Jessica Alba's hair color.

Normally when I get my hair cut I love it the first night and then when I try to style it myself it never looks the same, Alisha did such an awesome job that it looks just as good when I do it on my own.

This is the best cut/color I have even had and I am so happy that I went to her.

Everyone should go to her!!!

What hs this world come to?

Ever since New Year's things have been sort of crazy in my life. Kyle's sister's roommate went missing and today it has been assumed that there is undeniable evidence that the "person of interest" who the police finally found and questioned in fact ended Meredith's life.

I can't believe this is even happening. I saw Julia, Kyle's sister, on Good Morning America, Fox News, and all over streaming video on the internet from various interviews and press conferences. She looked so sad and broken down, I hate this.

Meredith Emerson was so beautiful and young, she is my age. I cannot believe that something like this has happened so close to my circle of life. I am so devastated for Meredith's family, for Julia and Kyle and I dont even know what to feel or think.

I am so scared.

New Year's Eve on the beach.

We rang in the new year at Kyle's mom's place, I was still sick and didnt feel up to going anywhere. It was for the best anyway, we got to spend some quality time together and had fun with a weenie roast and watching the fireworks from the balcony.

Kyle left this morning to go back to Bermuda, I am still really sick and couldnt make it to work. I went to the doctor and got some medicine to hopefully knock this cold out of me. I slept most of the day and just got up to eat some soup and clean my coffee table off. I sorted the laundry but now I am to tired to throw it in the washing machine.

Kyle and I talked over instant messenger for a few minutes when he got home. I miss him so much and it hasnt even been one whole day.

These are a few pictures from my birthday weekend in Las Vegas. It was a fun trip and I managed to win a little money also. We stayed at Cesar's and my favorites place was the Pussycat Dolls Casino and Tao.

It was freezing cold though, I wish it had been warmer and that we were able to stay to more than just the weekend. I cant wait to go back and see more.

It was a great birthday to get to spend some time with Kyle and travel with him.

This is us from Christmas day on Clearwter beach. It was a perfectly salty day and the weather was just right, a glorious 89 degrees. I wore my new green dress that I bought with some of my Vegas winnings, there is this cute little surf shop across the street from Kyle's mom's apartment and I love going in there. They had a white hat that I wanted, but I didnt get... I wish I had.

The best thing about living here is being able to feel the sand between your toes, look for sea shells, and wear a cotton dress on Christmas day, yes... it's all true, ya'll can hate me now. The worst thing about living here is that he doesnt! He leaves soon and it is killing me inside.

I want another tattoo, well, sort of. I want to modify an existing tattoo.

I got a pink star tattoo on my foot with a frienemy almost two years ago and now when I look down and see it, I am reminded of lies, spite, and a nasty attitude. Backstabbing friends arent something I like to think of daily.

Here is a picture of what I already have...

I want to add to the tattoo, some more stars, and a pink hibiscus flower.

Here are some reference materials.

Now what I want isnt exactly depicted in these two photos. I want my flower to wrap up more onto my ankle and then to add two more stars next to the current one, and three more stars near the top of the flower. I know, I know, difficult to explain. I guess I will need to sketch something rough out and scan that in so it is more clear of what I am trying to describe.

I won another dress on eBay...

... I know spending more money, but I did sell two of my auctions. Plus I had a rough day yesterday and I needed a pick-me-up!

I found a school and applied and filled out my FAFSA. If I can get enough money from a Pell grant and loans I am going to go back. It's stupid of me not to, I want a degree and I think that if I just start doing it I will be happy. If it all works out I am going to go for a bachelor's in Marketing. I figure that will give me a good basis for philanthropy work, also starting my own business and H.R., it gives me options. I am tired of feeling stuck.

I hate Sundays, I can't sleep...

The picture should send you to the set of photos taken at Julie's Birthday celebration on Friday night. We went to Jen's place and played Life and then headed out to sing karaoke. It was such a fun night.

I didn't do much Saturday, During the day I went out with my grandmother to a thrift store off of Kennedy, I found some cute things and then we got a pizza. Saturday night I spent on the phone with Kyle, it was our date night.

Today I spent lounging around poolside reading The Secret and doing laundry. Trying to get ready for the upcoming work week, oy...
